With an ABBA soundtrack booming and some of the most colorful and wonderful wardrobe on screen, West Valley one n ten put their feet up, relaxed, and got ready to watch the modern classic gay film ranked #7 in LOGO’s 50 greatest LGBT films: The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, the Australian dramedy about two drag queens, played by Hugo Weaving (Matrix Agent Smith), Guy Pearce (Memento), and a transsexual Terence Stamp (Superman II Kneel before Zod), as they journey across the Australian Outback from Sydney to remote resort town Alice Springs in a lavender tour bus that they have named “Priscilla”, along the way encountering various groups and individuals from friendly aborigines, to less accepting rural Australians, and even face harassment, vandalism, and even some violence.Crayon Playland 4 in 1 Combo

Full of laughs, fabulous outfits, a killer soundtrack and the opportunity to see drag queens from the land down under made for a fun filled evening complete with the audience singing along to “I Will Survive” and “Mamma Mia” made for a fun, daring, over-the-top and unforgettable night packed with attitude and the occasional frock.
