COVID-19 Update

Friday March 13, 2020, Temporary Program Pause

At one-n-ten, our top priority always is the health and safety of our youth, volunteers and staff.

Out of concern and caution over COVID-19, effective tomorrow, March 14, one-n-ten
program sites will proactively and temporarily close. Our events and participation in
community gatherings will also be cancelled or rescheduled. We are actively monitoring all information available and will send out notification of reopening as soon as we are able to determine a safe date to do so.

At one-n-ten, our youth center and satellite programs see approximately 400 individuals weekly from counties across the state. Due to the nature of our programs and number of youth served, this proactive pause is necessary to ensure everyone’s safety. Additional information regarding limited service hours and critical resource distribution will be available via the one-n-ten website and the other platforms listed below. These resources will include food, clothing, hygiene supplies, bus passes and additional items as needed.

We are also working with medical community partners to ensure the continuation of free medical care. The Crews n’ Health mobile, operated by Phoenix Children’s Hospital, will continue to be available on property from 3 to 6 p.m. every Tuesday.

The K12 Blended Learning Center in Phoenix, which partners with one-n-ten, will also be closed until further notice. To ensure the safety of all students and staff, students in the school and blended program will still be able to attend class online, from home. The K12 Blended Learning Center will continue to follow guidance from the state, and will be in communication with one-n-ten and our school community about plans to re-open.

The COVID-19 situation continues to evolve. As new information develops regarding our
services we will keep our community up-to-date. Information will be available on our website at www.onenten.org, and on the following platforms:

  • Our Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/1n10org/.
  • Instagram via our handle @onentenphx.
  • Youth will also be notified via the Remind app and their email on file.
  • We are also available by phone, at 602.400.2601, for answers to questions relating to the Youth Center and satellite programs.

We also encourage youth ages 13-19 to join us in the digital space, Q Chat, for discussion groups led by trained facilitators. For more information and to sign up for Q chat, please visit Qchatspace.org.

Thank you for joining one-n-ten in taking proactive and precautionary steps to ensure the safety of our community. We deeply appreciate your ongoing support for our work.
