Our mission is to serve LGBTQ+ youth and young adults, ages 11-24. We enhance their lives by providing empowering social and service programs that promote self-expression, self-acceptance, leadership development, and healthy life choices.
Through our programs, LGBTQ+ youth build confidence, celebrate their identities, and are empowered to thrive in all aspects of life.
Founded in 1993 by a group of volunteers, one·n·ten has been a beacon of hope for LGBTQ+ youth in Arizona for over 3 decades. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ+ youth, one·n·ten began offering essential support through group meetings and resources. Over the years, one·n·ten has grown alongside the needs of LGBTQ+ youth and young adults, expanding our programs and reach. From humble beginnings, one·n·ten has become a statewide leader in fostering safe spaces and empowering LGBTQ+ youth.
Today, one·n·ten’s legacy continues to grow, providing critical services through the Downtown Phoenix Youth Center, statewide satellite sites, outdoor adventure programs, as well as the housing & workforce programs. As our story continues to unfold, one thing remains constant: our unwavering dedication to empowering LGBTQ+ youth to thrive and reach their full potential.
