“It’s Alive!” Short Horror, Thriller, and Suspense Writing

What frightens you? What makes a piece of writing terrifying or suspenseful? In this class, students will learn the basics on writing in the short horror genre and subgenres. There will also be a reading of Bethany Harper’s short story The Monster Under the Fridge.
