Shawn is an accomplished retail and banking executive with over 25 years of leadership experience driving growth, innovation, and operational excellence across both retail and financial services sectors. With a background in strategic management, marketing, digital technology and customer experience, Shawn has developed a proven track record in leading large teams and implementing scalable solutions that enhance business performance while fostering positive community impact.
Shawn has had a lifelong commitment to community service. both as volunteer and board member for both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations in Arizona, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Utah. Shawn joined onenten’s board in 2016, serving on all committees and providing strategic guidance in fundraising, governance, and financial matters. Shawn’s passion for social responsibility drives sustainable and impactful results to deliver on onenten’s mission, in service to our youth, staff, donors and volunteers.
Shawn holds a BS-Accounting from University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire.

David is the Chief Commercial Officer for Wag! Labs, where he leads all of customer experience and e-commerce for the organization. He has spent his 20+ year career leading operations for national and global brands like Uber, The Home Depot, and T-Mobile.
David and his husband have been residents of the valley for the past 10 years and have dedicated their time, talent, and energy to advancing support for BIPOC LGBTQIA+ individuals through service and philanthropic efforts. David has been devoted to the service of others in both his professional and private life. As the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for one·n·ten, he hopes to bring institutional operational knowledge to the organization as well as visibility and acceptance of LGBTQIA+ young people.

Angie is a Senior Manager at American Express. Her responsibilities include creating foundational risk policies that prevent credit and fraud loss. She began her career at American Express in 2011 and has held a variety of roles with increasing complexity across the enterprise, primarily focused on leading projects in fraud prevention, network policy, and Anti-Money-Laundering.
Angie is a lead for the American Express Phoenix PRIDE+ Colleague Network, where she drives the vision of fostering an environment that feels safe and accepting for community members. She achieves her vision through supporting and enabling LGBTQIA+ colleagues to succeed as their authentic selves in the workplace.
Angie is passionate about working with one·n·ten, to ensure the next generation of our community has access to valuable resources and a strong community to lean on.

Dom Sims has been in the banking industry for 13 years where he spent most of his career in branch management. Dom currently works at U.S. Bank as a Performance Excellence Specialist where he actively partners with market and district leaders by curating and executing targeted plans to address performance improvement.
Dom also served as Arizona’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Champion at U.S. Bank and currently serves as the Geographic Lead for the Spectrum LGBTQ+ employee resource group in Arizona. Additionally, Dom launched the Black Heritage virtual chapter as VP and now serves on the newly formed Black Heritage Global Board as the Grow Director where he is involved in the execution of the bank’s strategy around Black employees, including the creation of the first Employee Wellness Support Circle for Black employees and allies.
Outside of banking, Dom has a passion for mental health awareness and holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Arizona State University and is currently working on his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University where he is currently interning as a Behavioral Health Clinician at the Southwest Center. It is his goal to help break the stigma of mental health not only in a professional environment, but with the LGBTQ+ community as well as communities of color specifically. Dom also likes to explore the crossover between psychology and leadership, using behavioral science and organizational psychology to drive human performance.

Nate Rhoton serves as the CEO for one-n-ten, an LGBTQ non-profit delivering youth services in Arizona. Joining the team in 2015, he served as the Director of Development followed by Director of Finance & Operations, before assuming his current role in January of 2018.
Following a career of fifteen years in corporate management and finance, Rhoton chose to serve the community with his nonprofit fundraising and development expertise. Serving for twelve years as the operations director and then CFO of a local construction company, he worked to expand corporate community involvement and non-discrimination protections to LGBTQ employees. Managing significant growth for the company, he saw early on the need for continued staff development and instituted training to increase retention and help new employees to assume higher paying roles within the company.
Born and raised in Arizona, Nate graduated from Flagstaff High School and then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Arizona State University’s WP Carey School of Business graduating magna cum laude in 2000. Over the last decade, he has committed himself to nonprofit service, serving on the Arizona steering committee of the Human Rights Campaign, the board of the Greater Phoenix Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, The Melonhead Foundation, and as co-chair of the board of directors for Equality Arizona. Currently he serves as the chair of the Human Relations Commission for the City of Phoenix, vice chair of Leading for Change, and on the LGBTQ Advisory to the Chancellor of Maricopa County Community Colleges.
In his free time, he loves spending time with his rescue pup, Molly.

Bev Crair recently retired after an extensive career in high tech. She led the Compute team for Oracle Corporation Cloud as Senior Vice President. Before that, she was the Vice President responsible for all product development for Lenovo’s Data Center group. She also was a VP/GM at Intel, and has done stints at Cisco, Sun Microsystems and even Unisys.
Bev specializes in organizational design, development and dynamics with a focus on building high performing teams; business strategy and planning, new technology development and implementation.
Bev serves as a Trustee with the University of California Santa Cruz Foundation, and spends time with her wife motorcycling or scuba diving.

Alicia Cowdrey, MD, currently serves as the Vice Chair and Outpatient Medical Director of Psychiatry/Behavioral Health for Valleywise Health and District Medical Group. This is innovative and rewarding work that matches her professional health care philosophies: person centered care, shared decision making, and recovery as identified by the person with the support of a qualified and compassionate health care team.
Alicia trained at Maricopa Integrated Health System for psychiatry residency and the University of Arizona for undergraduate and medical school. Alicia values education highly and loves teaching, educating patients, their families, the community, staff, residents, fellows, and medical students. She serves as the Associate Program Director for the Creighton Psychiatry Residency program, to train the next generation of psychiatrists.
Prior to her career as a physician, Alicia has worked the front lines of mental health since 2001, serving as a case manager and various other clinical and administrative roles.
In her free time, Alicia enjoys organizing fun social events for family and friends, traveling, road trips, concerts, enjoying the lovely Arizona outdoors, and cheering on the University of Arizona Wildcats.

Dr. Floyd H. Hardin, III is currently serving in the role of the Executive Officer of Equity and College Relations. In this role Dr. Hardin’s duties encompass both the responsibilities of Chief of staff and that of the Chief Diversity Officer for the organization.
Preceding his current role, Dr. Hardin served as Rio Salado College’s Senior Officer of Outreach, Inclusion and Strategic Partnerships. He operated as the institution’s primary contact for national partnership opportunities, educational transfer partners to support college-university transfer pathways and B2B partnerships to support revenue generating goals, industry and college-to-career pathway projects.
Dr. Hardin earned his Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University; Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology from Arizona State University; and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Humanities Studies from Morehouse College.
Dr. Hardin is proud to be an educational service provider, and works every day to personify the quote by Marian Wright Edelman, “Service is the rent we pay for being. It is the very purpose of life, and not merely something you do in your spare time.”

Daniel (Danny) Restrepo is an associate attorney with Fennemore Craig. His work includes a broad array of business services, including the preparation of commercial agreements, the negotiation and structuring of business mergers and acquisitions, and the management and protection of intellectual property portfolios.
Danny has deep roots in Arizona, growing up in Tempe, attending Arizona State University’s honors college and later attending ASU’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. Danny is also passionate about the responsibility that attorneys have as interpreters of the law, believing everyone deserves equal access and understanding as to the rules that govern us. Outside of work, you’ll probably find Danny outdoors where he enjoys hiking and camping, splitting his time between Phoenix and his home in Bisbee, Arizona.

Shelley Slick-Hummon is a dedicated educator and advocate with a rich background in leadership and community service. She currently serves as an elementary principal, a role in which she has demonstrated exceptional commitment to fostering inclusive educational environments for all students. In recognition of her outstanding leadership, Shelley was honored as the 2023 National Distinguished Principal by the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP).
Shelley believes in giving back to her community and volunteers her time serving as the president of her district’s administrative association and the president elect of the elementary division for the state administrator’s association. Shelley mentors other professionals through her volunteer time with Scottsdale Leadership, of which she is a proud alumna. She also serves the Arizona Educational Foundation through A+ judging and mentoring aspiring principals through their leadership academy.
Beyond her principalship, Shelley contributes to higher education as an Adjunct Faculty member at Scottsdale Community College, where she imparts her knowledge and experience to aspiring educators.
Shelley and her husband have been married for over 25 years and are the proud parents of members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Michael S.C. Soto is a political strategist and social justice scholar. His clients include One Community, where he works as the Chief Advocacy Officer and the Equality and Fairness Campaign. He is delighted to serve the Arizona LGBTQ+ community on the one·n·ten and Equality Arizona boards. Michael is a long-time leader in the LGBTQ+ movement in Arizona and the nation.
He is a graduate of ASU with a Bachelor of Arts in Women and Gender Studies and a Master of Science in Justice Studies. Michael is currently a PhD student in Justice Studies at ASU, where his studies focus on pluralism as the antidote to political polarization and extremism. He believes to his core that justice is a lifelong process and hopes to make some meaningful contribution to creating a more just society during his lifetime.
