Lou Goodman

Lou served as a volunteer mentor in one-n-ten’s Youth Education and Success (YES) program before joining the Board.  He is a consultant in the field of juvenile justice, having retired from the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections (ADJC), where he held several executive level positions, including Chief Hearing Officer, Assistant Director for Legal Services, and Assistant Director for Support Services.  Before joining ADJC, Lou was an attorney with a small civil litigation law firm.

Lou also serves as a pro tem justice of the peace in Maricopa County, and he is an adjunct faculty member at Estrella Mountain Community College, where he teaches Juvenile Justice Procedures.   He earned his BA at The Ohio State University and his JD at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.  Lou is passionate about serving youth and particularly one-n-ten youth, and he is honored to be on the Board.
