Daniel Dziadura

Daniel J. Dziadura PT, DHSc, MSPT
Dan grew up in Brooklyn, NY and received his Master of Science in physical therapy from
Boston University. After a dozen years working in Brooklyn hospitals he began a new adventure
in the desert southwest, where he now works as Director of Rehabilitation Services with Banner
Health in Phoenix. Dan received his Doctor of Health Sciences Degree from A.T. Still University
in Mesa and focused his research on resilience in hospital employees.
Dan completed a certificate in Clinical and Applied Hypnosis from Saybrook University and
received further training in hypnotherapy at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts. Blending
his knowledge of body and mind, Dan established a Guided Imagery Program at Banner Health
to help patients gain relief from anxiety and pain.
Dan is an adjunct faculty member with the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Franklin
Pierce University in Goodyear and facilitates leadership classes for the American Physical
Therapy Association.  He has spoken about resilience and leadership at national conferences at
Ohio State University, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Washington DC, and at various Banner
hospitals across Arizona. Dan is a healthcare innovator who has a passion for helping people
build their inner resources by cultivating leadership skills and resilience.
Dan takes care of his own well-being through exercise and by practicing meditation and
mindfulness. He loves dragons, orcas, dogs, and hiking in Sedona.
