COVID-19 Update

Important COVID-19 Vaccination Policy Update:

At one∙n∙ten our top priority is the safety and health of our youth, volunteers, and staff. After careful consideration, due to the rising cases in COVID-19 & the Delta variant, effective Monday, August 30th, all youth must be fully vaccinated to attend one∙n∙ten in-person programs. This includes the Youth Center, satellite sites, and one∙n∙ten in-person events. We will continue to monitor the virus locally and the policy will remain in effect until the organization determines it is safe to revise the policy.

Youth will be required to sign a form declaring their vaccination status and may be asked to provide proof of a vaccination card. Masks will continue to be required at all sites. All one∙n∙ten COVID-19 related policies are still in place and can be reviewed here: onenten.org/covid-19-update

To ensure our youth community has access to needed resources, regardless of vaccination status, youth can make an appointment for our Tuesday Resource Night, between 4 and 6:30 pm. To learn more and make an appointment, email Gina Read at Gina@onenten.org

To learn more about the COVID-19 vaccine and locate a site near you, please visit:  https://www.vaccines.gov/

We invite one∙n∙ten youth, especially those who are unable to join us in person, to participate in our digital programs and spaces, including Zoom, Discord, and Twitch. For more information and to join our digital programs, please visit:  https://onenten.org/programs-calendar/

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation with the following basic rules:

  • Be fully vaccinated
  • A mask covering mouth and nose at all times
  • Temperature check, sign-in log, Covid-19 screening questionnaire and waiver required to enter
  • Negative temperature check + negative screen + signed waiver = join us for programs!
  • Physical distancing of at least 6 feet from other people in the space is required
  • Eating is not allowed at any Satellite location. Eating is allowed at the designated seating area of the Youth Center kitchen.
  • If a youth has traveled in the past 10 days (travel is defined as any trip that is overnight AND on public transportation (plane, train, bus, Uber, Lyft, cab, etc.) OR any trip that is overnight AND with people who are not in your household.) AND the youth is not fully vaccinated, the youth will not be able to attend programming.

We’re excited to see youth in-person!

Re-opening Standard Operating Procedures*

*These SOPs are a living document and subject to change based on evolving local, state, federal guidelines.  The safety of our youth, staff and volunteers is paramount as we resume in-person programming.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation – we are excited to see y’all!

  • Effective Monday August 30th, youth must be fully vaccinated in order to attend any one∙n∙ten in-person programming (including the Youth Center and satellite sites).  All youth, regardless of vaccination status, are able to attend Resource Night by making an appointment with Gina gina@onenten.org The “why”:  With the surge in the Delta variant, particularly amongst unvaccinated folks, we want to uphold optimum policies and procedures in supporting youth, volunteer and staff safety.  We have resources to provide to help you get vaccinated if you are 12+ yo and resources on how to access our online youth programming!
  • A mask covering mouth and nose required at all times!  The “why”:  We are following local health department and CDC guidelines.
  • Temperature check, sign-in log, Covid-19 screening questionnaire and waiver required to enter!  The “why”: an elevated temperature can be a symptom of Covid-19 and the screening questionnaire has additional questions that can identify a possible Covid infection or risk of infection. We have everyone complete the sign-in log in case we need to do contact tracing.
    • Positive temperature: if an individual has a temperature of 100.4+ F, or positive screening questionnaire, the individual must leave the site and follow CDC guidelines.
      • If a youth is dropped off, their parent/guardian should wait outside for youth to pass screening before they leave.  The “why”: just in case the youth doesn’t pass the screening.
      • If a parent/guardian is unable to pick up a youth who arrived via public transportation and does not pass the screening, one∙n∙ten will provide bus pass or Lyft credits for transportation home.
        • Negative temperature check + negative screen + signed waiver = join us for programs!
          • Physical distancing of at least 6 feet from other people in the space is required. The “why”:  we are following CDC guidelines.
          • Eating is not allowed at all Satellites (The “why”: satellite sites’ rule).  Eating is allowed at the designated seating area of the YC kitchen.
          • If a youth has traveled in the past 10 days (travel is defined as any trip that is overnight AND on public transportation (plane, train, bus, Uber, Lyft, cab, etc.) OR any trip that is overnight AND with people who are not in your household.) AND youth is not fully vaccinated, they will not be able to attend programming. The “why”: CDC guideline due to risk of Covid transmission.
